After my placement with Wave last summer, I knew I wanted to return. I knew this was a team I wanted to be part of again: friendly, likeminded, and full of people who genuinely want to see each other progress.
What stood out to me then (and still does now) is the shared vision across the team — one where I can grow both technically and personally as I work toward becoming a fully qualified engineer.…”
After a successful placement with us last year, Connor’s return this summer was a no-brainer.
He’s jumping straight back in with the same drive and curiosity that made him a standout the first time around — and we’re excited to support him as he continues developing — technically and personally — we’re proud to be part of Connor’s journey as he works toward becoming a fully qualified engineer.
During this year, he’s setting his sights on:
🌡️ Developing in the refrigeration and heat pump sector
📋 Get involved in project management to understand the full picture of our work
🚀 Lead a project he can develop into his final year university project — something innovative, impactful, and maybe even award-worthy 👀
Connor’s currently studying Mechanical Engineering (BEng) at the University of Huddersfield, and everything he’s doing here aligns perfectly with his course — and his ambition.
Here’s to a year of learning, contribution, and (hopefully) not being too mad for coming back 😉
