WAVE visit compressor manufacturer Dorin

Yesterday WAVE’s Managing Director, Mark Williams and Project Consultant & Aldi Account Manager, Tim Simpson visited the leading compressor manufacturer, Dorin. With over 100 years of experience in designing and producing high-quality compressors, Dorin is undoubtedly one of the best in the business.
During their visit, Mark and Tim learned all about the latest technologies being used by Dorin to improve the performance and efficiency of their compressors. They were impressed by the level of innovation and the commitment to sustainability demonstrated by the team at Dorin. Some of the main processes below is why Dorin seems to be ahead of the field in DOAs and failures on their full compressor range.
- All Dorin compressors at build completion are fully pressure tested and leak tested before being signed off
- All Dorin compressors are then electrically tested and ran on test whilst being monitored for run amps and pressures
- Noted that C02 compressors are ran on test for 30 minutes and HFC compressors for a reduced period
- Upon completion the oil charge is then changed before certification is completed
- All builds are stamped for traceability to an individual.
- All compressors are coated to withstand 1000 hrs salt spray testing
