December 19^th, 2024, WAVE volunteers Sam, Caitlin and Jack once again brought the true spirit of giving to life by supporting the Cash for Kids charity at the storeroom Leeds.

As part of their annual tradition, the team participated in the ‘Mission Christmas’ initiative, Sam, Caitlin, Jack, and other volunteers join forces with the Cash for Kids team. Together, they undertook the important task of sorting through generous donations of Christmas gifts. With care and dedication, they ensured that every present was packed and ready to reach the children who needed them most.

The festive pinch can see struggling families unable to afford the cost of Christmas, and for the 1 in 3 children living in poverty in the UK, presents are a luxury their parents can’t afford.

Cash for Kids is a grant-giving charity dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged children across the UK, particularly those facing poverty, illness, neglect, or additional needs.

Every child deserves a present at Christmas.
