Cash For Kids – 5K a day in May

This year, WAVE have partnered up with Cash for Kids, a UK based charity whose aim is to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in our communities who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect or have additional needs.
In April, we participated in Cash for Kids ‘Wear, share, care’ campaign, and donated a total of 130Kg of clothes to the cause.
During May, we will be partaking in the ‘5k a day in May’ initiative, which will see one of our team members walking, running or cycling 5k every day throughout the month of May. We will also be thinking of other ways we can fundraise on Cash for Kids Day on 27th May!
100% of the money raised will go towards the Cash for Kids charity.
