We are thrilled to announce that WAVE has been chosen as a finalist in not just one, but two categories at the prestigious National ACR & Heat Pump Awards 2024! This recognition is a testament to our commitment to excellence and innovation in the industry. The awards will take place on the 21st March 2024 at the Midland Hotel, Manchester. The first category in which we are a finalist is the Refrigeration Project. The entry is for WAVE’s design and project support on Bidfood’s Glasgow Depot. This project presented unique challenges and customer requirements that we were able to meet with our cutting-edge solutions for a new build refrigerated depot. Our team worked diligently to ensure strict adherence to the project specifications while prioritising an environmentally friendly design with a low carbon footprint and future expansion resilience.
The second category, we are finalists for is Ancillary Product of The Year. This is for our groundbreaking Theoretical Performance Calculator. This software tool is designed to assist HVACR professionals in designing and validating efficient and sustainable HVACR systems. With the ability to accurately predict performance characteristics such as coefficient of performance (COP), capacity, and power consumption, the Theoretical Performance Calculator allows for informed decision making and easy comparison between different design options.
One of the major advantages of this software is its ability to automate complex calculations, significantly reducing design time for engineers and designers. By using the Theoretical Performance Calculator, professionals can model multiple options quicky and accurately to optimise system performance, improve energy efficiency, and reduce the environmental impact by selected the best solution for their projects.
We are grateful and excited to be recognised as finalists in these two prestigious categories at the ACR and Heat Pump Awards 2024. This recognition further motivates us to continue developing ground-breaking solutions and pushing the boundaries of excellence in the refrigeration industry.
