WAVE Sponsor runs the London Marathon

This weekend Wave sponsored runner Peter Davidson in the London marathon. Peter ran for the charity known as ‘Kids’, who focus on giving disabled children a brighter future, and ran the race in 3:42:52. Additionally Peter raised an incredible £4290 for the charity. Remarkable work Peter!

For more than 50 years, KIDS has provided a wide range of services nationally for disabled children, young people and their families. Their services cover three main areas: information, advice & family support; play and social; and learning and development.

In the last year KIDS delivered almost 225,000 hours of support, over 40,000 hours of online support across all their services, working with almost 15,000 disabled children, young people and their families.
